Alright, we are proud of this one! It’s the best bomber jacket we could imagine,it looks so awesome! It's nice and big and super comfy, and has everything you could be looking for in a bomber: a big hood* with drawstrings, a sturdy YKK zipper, it has elastic on the bottom to make for a snug fit on the hips, cute coconut buttons to close the sleeves, it’s got pockets and even a secret pocket on the inside! 

Besides looking amazing, it’s made from all repurposed materials. All the fabrics used are forgotten, rejected or vintage fabrics that we have collected ourselves by hand and heart and turned into an eco-friendly piece of art unlike any other - truly, you’ll never be able to find or make a jacket exactly like this one: this bomber is unique, just like you. 

*This bomber has a hood, we also have this design without hood in different fabrics.

This is a free size item that fits all sizes between XS and L

All our clothing are brilliant free sizes, we spend a lot of time and thought into making them so they fit bodies in as many shapes and sizes as possible. Of course this piece would look different on every body; more oversized in the lower sizes and a snugger fit in the upper sizes.
We're really quite proud of our designs, and we hope you'll love wearing them.

Uma Nomad is a sustainable fashion brand and we make our clothing only from vintage and second-hand fabrics. Because we can only make 1 piece out of every fabric we repurpose, all our clothing is truly unique in colour and print.

Eco-friendly fashion: 

Repurposing and upcycling old fabrics is an eco-friendly move, as new fabrics don’t have to be manufactured and by reusing these beautiful discarded materials they don’t end up in landfill. Our clothing is unique, and they go fast! So we (try to) post a brand new collection of clothing in unique colours and designs on our website, every day of the week.

Materials:

Viscose or Rayon

Because this garment is made from recycled vintage and second hand fabrics that we collect from all over the world, it's really hard to decide the exact composition of every fabric we repurpose. We hope you can forgive us for this. Having said that, most of the fabrics we use are either Viscose or Rayon.

We only select the most beautiful and comfortable feeling materials. - After all these years we've gotten really good at this!

This sweet little jacket, has a way of making you look cute yet classy while you're in the midst of your grocery and other-kinds-of errands run. Even when you just dropped one of your bags, your hair is messy and your upper lip sweaty!

We really love how this item brings a sense of sophistication to any look, while keeping it relaxed at the same time. 

On the one side you find the colourful vintage saree, which is our favourite material to repurpose - because they’re so beautiful - and we’ve lined them with another repurposed fabric on the inside. These are fabrics that we've found during our adventures salvaging forgotten materials: old curtains, rejected bedsheets, or this cool waste material we collect from blockprinting ateliers.

All this cool stuff that, with a bit of effort and love, can be turned into the coolest jacket. And so, can go on to live a whole new life. 

Note: As we make all our clothing from repurposed fabrics, this piece is unique, just like every other item on our website. When this beauty finds a home, we can unfortunately not make another one like it. 🤎

This 'Isa' jacket is exactly the same as our original 'Isa' design, except that these are fully made from vintage Indian Sari's, our absolute favourite fabrics to recycle. This makes them more airy and thus a great fit for the warmer days.

Making this collection has been a great adventure, in which we believe we have done a great job at making a gorgeous jacket, or wait, two gorgeous jackets, to keep you warm on mellow summer days. 

Our jacket ‘Isa’ comes in 2 sizes and 2 lengths, rocks a fantastic huge hood, has a wide beautiful belt and pockets on both sides: inside and out. 

Size: small/medium (32-36) - if you like to wear this jacket oversized we would suggest going for an Isa in medium/large.

We proudly present you the first items of our autumn collection. How exciting!

An epic reversible jacket made from materials without purpose; beautiful forgotten fabrics that we have found and transformed to unique wearable pieces of art like this one right here. On one side we have used an vintage Indian Saree, and the other side could be anything from curtains to quilts, or this cool cotton that we found that had been used as an underlayment for handblockprinting - so cool, what a find - and basically any other fantastic reusable material we could find to repurpose.
